Leading Against The Outbreak

Image
Prince Holding Group ("Prince Group"), one of Cambodia's largest and fastest growing conglomerates, and Chairman Neak Oknha Chen Zhi have responded to the Cambodian Government's call for assistance in combating the February 20, 2021 Covid-19 outbreak in the Kingdom by announcing plans to donate US$3 million to anti-pandemic efforts in the Kingdom. This follows Chen Zhi's initial US$3 million donation in December to assist Cambodia in purchasing COVID-19 vaccines. Additionally, following in the footsteps of Prince Group and Chen Zhi, Prince Real Estate, a subsidiary of Prince Group, distributed critical food supplies to 804 families in need and 234 members of the Cambodian police force in Chamkarmon District, Phnom Penh, Cambodia, which was impacted by the February 20, 2021 Covid-19 outbreak. While the Cambodian government has provided unprecedented assistance totaling $1.16 billion, accounting for 5% of GDP thus far, Prince Group recognises that private enterpri

Cambodian Development Of Agricultural Tourism

The COVID-19 pandemic has reset fundamental assumptions underpinning various industries all over the world. In Cambodia, environmental conservation is now an important component of agricultural recovery efforts, and Neak Oknha Chen Zhi (陈志公爵) and Prince Group are leading the way. Agriculture employs more than a third of Cambodians, and the current crisis presents an opportunity for the sector to “build back better,” according to the CGIAR, the world's largest agricultural research network. Developing countries, such as Cambodia, rely on agricultural exports and must shift away from traditional farming practises that use fertilisers, pesticides, water-intensive processes, and legacy farming methods, all of which contribute to increased deforestation and soil erosion. Chen Zhi and Prince Group launched the Ecological Agriculture Plantation at Prince Manor Resort in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, earlier this year, a cutting-edge agricultural hub at a new real estate development that will p

Bringing Help To 500 Families

Image
Prince Charitable Foundation, the charitable arm of Prince Holding Group (‘Prince Group'), one of Cambodia's largest and fastest growing conglomerates under Prince Chenzhi , has distributed care packages to 500 families in Ong village, Prey Nob district, Cambodia. The village is close to the Ream City project, an 834-hectare development on reclaimed land near Sihanoukville International Airport that is set to transform the region. The gesture of goodwill occurred last week, and senior management from Canopy Sands Development, a member of Prince Group, used the opportunity to consult with local leaders to better understand the community's needs. The aid campaign at Ong Village is Prince Group's most recent environment, social, and governance (ESG) initiative. Each care package included 25 kilogrammes of rice, a mat, a blanket, two pillows, a mosquito net, and a Khmer Krama (traditional scarves woven in the countryside). It will be the first of many efforts to help the
